FireChat ha sorprendido al mundo de la telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil, es una aplicaci\u00f3n para chatear sin necesidad de servicio celular o conexi\u00f3n a internet.<\/p>\n

Esta aplicaci\u00f3n supone una reinvenci\u00f3n de la mensajer\u00eda instant\u00e1nea al ser efectiva, segura y costeable, FireChat funciona mediante la red inal\u00e1mbrica mallada, un sistema parecido al de una cadena de eslabones en el cual la intenci\u00f3n es mantener comunicaci\u00f3n remota con miles de dispositivos con radio incorporado.<\/p>\n

Micha Benoliel, director ejecutivo de Open Garden, fabricante de la app FireChat explica: \u201cEstamos tratando de crear redes construidas por la gente para la gente\u201d. Una de las ventajas de esta app es que no se limita a la conexi\u00f3n entre dos personas, sino que cada dispositivo que la ha instalado act\u00faa como una antena de la red, extendiendo de esta manera su alcance para incluir a m\u00e1s participantes en una conversaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Debido a esto, los tel\u00e9fonos que se emplean en este chat pueden conectarse a una distancia de hasta unos 30 metros de radio, as\u00ed es claro que no sustituye aplicaciones como WhatsApp, Line o Telegram, en las cuales se puede conversar desde cualquier parte del mundo. Esta aplicaci\u00f3n ha sido descargada m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de veces en el sistema operativo iOS de Apple, siendo Europa y Asia los continentes con mayor n\u00famero de usuarios.<\/p>\n

Su funcionalidad se cifra en que los mensajes no se guardan los servidores remotos, lo hacen en la memoria del smartphone, donde se despu\u00e9s se eliminan peri\u00f3dicamente. La aplicaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible en Espa\u00f1ol, Alem\u00e1n, Chino, Fin\u00e9s, Franc\u00e9s, Ingl\u00e9s, Italiano, Japon\u00e9s, Ruso y Turco.<\/p>\n

FireChat es apropiada para zonas con escasa cobertura o donde las redes est\u00e1n saturadas, cabe decir que la cercan\u00eda es lo que hace efectivo este servicio, al ser utilizado en redes vulnerables la distancia geogr\u00e1fica se convierte en el aliado principal de esta app. Originalmente concebida para el iOS de Apple, ya est\u00e1 disponible para dispositivos con Android.<\/p>\n
