La teor\u00eda de la firma es tambi\u00e9n conocida como la teor\u00eda econ\u00f3mica de la empresa y define a la organizaci\u00f3n como una unidad econ\u00f3mica de producci\u00f3n que nace y se desarrolla dentro de un mercado.<\/span><\/p>\n

El principal objetivo de la firma es la maximizaci\u00f3n de ganancias. Seg\u00fan Milton Friedman, Premio Nobel de econom\u00eda en 1976, la funci\u00f3n de \u00e9sta es construir unas proposiciones que sirvan para analizar el mundo real, no para describirlo.<\/span><\/p>\n

La empresa como un mecanismo<\/span><\/h2>\n

La econom\u00eda neocl\u00e1sica considera a la empresa como un mecanismo que se sit\u00faa entre el mercado de factores y el de productos, cuya actuaci\u00f3n consiste en combinar estos factores para transformarlos en productos; los precios de los factores productivos y de los productos terminados, al igual que la tecnolog\u00eda que emplea la empresa en la producci\u00f3n, vienen dados por la informaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nos brinda nuevas herramientas anal\u00edticas que se requieren para ser integradas en un marco de an\u00e1lisis nuevo, acerca de las formas de coordinaci\u00f3n inter firma que se establecen en la industria manufacturera, las cuales son la clave del porqu\u00e9 los pa\u00edses emergentes pueden lograr el catching up<\/em> (el cierre de la brecha tecnol\u00f3gica) y crecer a tasas de productividad elevadas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las firmas pertenecen a una poblaci\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea, donde cada una se diferencia de la otra, tanto en su desempe\u00f1o como en sus costos unitarios determinados por la tecnolog\u00eda e innovaci\u00f3n que en cada firma constituye su caracter\u00edstica distintiva.<\/span><\/p>\n

La teor\u00eda de la firma se puede estudiar desde distintos enfoques:<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u2022 Basados en costos de transacci\u00f3n.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Costos de coordinaci\u00f3n.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Dise\u00f1o de tareas y sistemas de incentivos.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Conocimiento.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Problema de agencia que surge de la separaci\u00f3n entre la propiedad y el control.<\/span><\/p>\n

A trav\u00e9s de la Licenciatura en Administraci\u00f3n<\/a><\/span> se puede estudiar y conocer m\u00e1s sobre la teor\u00eda de la firma; el administrador desempe\u00f1a funciones generales de planeaci\u00f3n, organizaci\u00f3n, integraci\u00f3n, direcci\u00f3n y control; en donde ejerce su responsabilidad primaria que es la administraci\u00f3n de la empresa y los subsistemas donde realiza sus principales tareas.<\/span><\/p>\n
