{"id":48379,"date":"2023-12-21T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-21T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/utel.mx\/blog\/?p=48379"},"modified":"2023-12-19T19:56:33","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T19:56:33","slug":"regulacion-del-miedo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/utel.mx\/blog\/peap\/regulacion-del-miedo\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulaci\u00f3n del miedo: aceptando la experiencia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El miedo es una <strong>respuesta de naturaleza transitoria<\/strong> a un est\u00edmulo espec\u00edfico que <strong>disminuye una vez que la persona ha escapado del peligro<\/strong>. La intensidad de las respuestas de miedo, el grado de activaci\u00f3n ante est\u00edmulos nuevos y la vulnerabilidad al p\u00e1nico var\u00edan entre individuos y se relacionan con la inseguridad personal (Greenberg, 2000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regularmente, <strong>cuando se activa el miedo tambi\u00e9n dejamos de actuar, entramos en una vigilancia<\/strong> extrema del lugar y el entorno <strong>y se comienza a planear un escape o salida de la situaci\u00f3n que provoc\u00f3 el temor<\/strong>. Dicha respuesta causa un efecto tanto en el cuerpo como en la mente. Los sentimientos de miedo llegan a ser subjetivos (sin amenaza evidente) y pueden provocar otro tipo de respuestas, como: ansiedad, enojo y un exceso de actividad cerebral y f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando se alcanza un descontrol en la persona, podemos hablar de la existencia de un miedo desadaptativo. Aqu\u00ed se presentan fuertes respuestas en la persona, fobias, as\u00ed como pensamientos, sentimientos y recuerdos asociados a eventos catastr\u00f3ficos o traum\u00e1ticos. El miedo adaptativo se manifiesta cuando se presenta ante nosotros un est\u00edmulo que nos supera y la respuesta temerosa nos acerca a la supervivencia. Por lo general, <strong>vemos al miedo como algo desagradable; sin embargo, a\u00fan llegamos a tener completa consciencia de su funci\u00f3n ben\u00e9fica sobre nosotros m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la preparaci\u00f3n ante est\u00edmulos amenazadores<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestra tarea como personas es aprender a regular el miedo, ya que \u00e9ste nos permite un mayor grado de adaptaci\u00f3n en situaciones sociales e individuales, como ser\u00edan las decisiones y hablar en p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Encuesta Nacional de Bienestar Autorreportado (ENBIARE) 2021, capt\u00f3 que 19.3% de la poblaci\u00f3n adulta tiene s\u00edntomas de ansiedad y fobias, mientras que otro 31.3% revela s\u00edntomas de ansiedad en alg\u00fan grado.\u00a0 Y a nivel mundial, cerca del 28% de la poblaci\u00f3n padece un trastorno de p\u00e1nico o fobia espec\u00edfica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es muy importante recordar que <strong>los pensamientos no son hechos<\/strong> y que <strong>no tienen por qu\u00e9 controlarnos<\/strong>. Puedes decirte a ti mismo \u00abS\u00ed, tengo este pensamiento intrusivo, pero no tiene por qu\u00e9 afectarme negativamente\u00bb. Luego, trata de centrar tu atenci\u00f3n en el presente y en las actividades que est\u00e1s realizando en ese momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para controlar la sensaci\u00f3n de miedo, vamos a concentrarnos en las siguientes ideas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Toma conciencia activa del momento presente:<\/strong> no vayas hacia pensamientos de lo que podr\u00eda suceder, enf\u00f3cate en lo que est\u00e1 sucediendo (recapacita si realmente te encuentras en una situaci\u00f3n de riesgo).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cultiva y desarrolla una mayor conciencia de las experiencias psicol\u00f3gicas en curso:<\/strong> esto se realiza concentr\u00e1ndonos en la sensaci\u00f3n y respuestas que la experiencia provoca, intentando lidiar as\u00ed con el momento y despu\u00e9s dej\u00e1ndolo pasar (considerar el tiempo y la funci\u00f3n de cada experiencia acontecida).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acepta la experiencia presente sin intentar cambiarla de ninguna manera:<\/strong> trata de aumentar la conciencia de lo que en el momento est\u00e1s sintiendo (deja pasar la situaci\u00f3n y concentrarse en el aprendizaje).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Al planteamiento anterior vamos a complementarlo con las siguientes preguntas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bfQu\u00e9 pruebas tengo de que este pensamiento es cierto?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfHay alguna evidencia en contra de este pensamiento?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfEstoy viendo las cosas de manera equilibrada o quiz\u00e1 estoy exagerando algunos aspectos?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La propuesta anterior persigue darte recursos de control. Ten en cuenta que las emociones son naturales al ser humano.
