{"id":49336,"date":"2024-07-04T08:29:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-04T08:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/utel.mx\/blog\/?p=49336"},"modified":"2024-07-03T16:01:06","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T16:01:06","slug":"ciclo-de-angustia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/utel.mx\/blog\/peap\/ciclo-de-angustia\/","title":{"rendered":"Ciclo de angustia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>La angustia es la sensaci\u00f3n de que algo catastr\u00f3fico va a suceder<\/strong>, sentir que uno va a morir, a volverse loco, a desmayarse, a perder el control de s\u00ed mismo; suele surgir de la nada, o no es posible reconocer las situaciones que desencadenan la aparici\u00f3n de la misma. Como todo ciclo, <strong>comienza con un evento que improvisa los elementos de cada persona y los utiliza como una se\u00f1al de alarma<\/strong>, puede ser enfocado en metas personales, relaciones interpersonales o compromisos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cLos fen\u00f3menos de la angustia y de la desesperaci\u00f3n, quedan siempre en un esquema riguroso de conceptos.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>Soren Kierkegaard\u00a0<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Situaciones angustiantes o desencadenantes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Todo comienza con un evento que genera s\u00edntomas inc\u00f3modos<\/strong>, tales como: preocupaci\u00f3n, miedo, aceleraci\u00f3n del coraz\u00f3n, sudoraci\u00f3n o sensaci\u00f3n de estar abrumado; puede ser una decepci\u00f3n amorosa, laboral, falta de comunicaci\u00f3n con pares, miedo al fracaso y dificultades para expresarse libremente con otras personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sensaciones corporales<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Durante una crisis de angustia se presentan sensaciones corporales poco funcionales<\/strong>, como: opresi\u00f3n en el pecho, sudoraci\u00f3n en las manos, sensaci\u00f3n de falta de respiraci\u00f3n e hipersensibilidad; <strong>cuando la sensaci\u00f3n corporal es tan fuerte que bloquea por completo la actividad habitual y evoca sensaciones desagradables como si su vida dependiera de ello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pensamientos<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Los pensamientos que son provocados por la respuesta corporal descrita, suelen dirigirse a que algo terrible va a suceder, y <strong>aunque cada quien puede tener sus propios miedos, \u00e9stos son completamente irracionales y tienen su origen en la sensaci\u00f3n de desamparo ante las reacciones del cuerpo<\/strong> (a la vez, se detiene el uso de experiencias previas al momento de intentar resolver problemas, por lo que los pensamientos comienzan a alimentar la experiencia de que alg\u00fan peligro est\u00e1 \u201cocurriendo\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Comportamiento<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Las respuestas que se presentan intentan desesperadamente evitar que se cumpla la cat\u00e1strofe que parece ser amenazante. Algunas de las cosas que suelen suceder en una crisis de angustia son:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Escape:<\/strong> se act\u00faa de forma impulsiva y se busca abandonar el lugar y el momento, intentando encontrar un entorno m\u00e1s seguro.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evitaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> se intenta por todos los medios disponibles evitar el contacto con la sensaci\u00f3n y los componentes de la experiencia de angustia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preparaci\u00f3n e improvisaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> se planean actividades que puedan detener la sensaci\u00f3n de angustia, estos comportamientos pueden ser planeados, impulsivos o incluso obsesivos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con las cifras reportadas por acad\u00e9micos de la UNAM (2023), <strong>un 23% de la poblaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds ha experimentado una crisis de angustia<\/strong>, cuyos casos aumentaron durante el periodo de encierro en COVID-19 y posterior a la situaci\u00f3n sanitaria a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De forma profesional, la experiencia que narramos se clasifica, de acuerdo con el DSM-V, como un trastorno por crisis de angustia (en el que la ansiedad se presenta en forma de episodios como palpitaciones, sensaci\u00f3n de ahogo, inestabilidad, temblores o miedo a morirse). <strong>El trastorno de angustia consiste en que la persona est\u00e1 preocupada por la posibilidad de sufrir m\u00e1s crisis de angustia y\/o cambia su comportamiento para intentar evitar las crisis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Crisis de angustia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los s\u00edntomas de <strong>las crisis de angustia incluyen muchos tipos de s\u00edntomas f\u00edsicos, y las personas afectadas a menudo se preocupan porque los confunden con un problema m\u00e9dico peligroso<\/strong> que afecta el coraz\u00f3n, los pulmones o el cerebro. Por ejemplo, durante una crisis de angustia puede producirse dolor tor\u00e1cico y la persona afectada llega a preocuparse por sufrir un infarto de miocardio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 hacer frente a una crisis de angustia?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Considera los siguientes aspectos como parte de un proceso personal de autocontrol:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Relajaci\u00f3n:<\/strong>\u00a0 el entrenamiento en relajaci\u00f3n puede ayudar a reducir el nivel excesivo de tensi\u00f3n muscular y, por tanto, reducir la probabilidad de sufrir una crisis de angustia. Para que funcione, se debe actuar contra la ansiedad al principio, antes de que crezca hasta convertirse en una crisis de angustia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Respiraci\u00f3n:<\/strong> intente respirar suave y lentamente, de manera que la sensaci\u00f3n de angustia se reduzca. La respiraci\u00f3n lenta ayuda a relajarse, puede ser dif\u00edcil al principio, pero se necesita controlar la velocidad de su respiraci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Distracci\u00f3n:<\/strong> ayuda a controlar los pensamientos que provocan ansiedad, distraerse de ellos e intentar ocupar los pensamientos en otra cosa. La mejor forma de hacerlo es concentrarse en lo que sucede a su alrededor en vez de estar pendiente de lo que pasa dentro de su cuerpo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante el fen\u00f3meno de angustia se recomienda consultar con un especialista en salud mental.
